Network changes
JoinIRC has reopened its doors to the public, we had a bit of downtime but we have reopened and are ready to rock... We have linked up with SailIRC via Janus to provide you with some amazing channels, so what are you waiting for drop on by and have fun!!!
We are stoked to announce that Hellas Chat IRC network (helaschat.net) has murged with JoinIRC and is now officaly part of JoinIRC!!!
Who Is JoinIRC
JoinIRC was started back in 2004 by c0pd aka Judge-- an active gnuworld devloper so as the network grew so did the issues, in 2009 Bazman007 joined the community and linked up his servers expanding the networks even more, as time moved on somthing clicked, we were to much like the big U (Undernet) and we needed change we had ircu undernets ircd and gnuworld also devloped by undernet we where also fallowing there channel scheme er had #CService, X, #Routing, UWorld etc... and I was not alonein wanting change but most of the main admins did not so we muttered on and after another year things dwindled the admins where MIA most of the time leaving me with a big promotion but no access to the servers that housed gnuworld etc, so we went are seppert ways and JoinIRC slowly died. Till now...
We have purchased the domain joinirc.org and reopened are doors and are no longer running ircu or gnuworld we now run InspIRCd and Atheme 7 services and we are run by Bazman007, MiGueLL_, Scofield, SailIRC and his staff (Janus Link) and our community! Big changes have come about for JoinIRC and things are rocking with over 160 (real) users and 8 chat servers, we are a frendly community with a lot of fun chat chnnels and lots of people to talk with.

JoinIRC is a network geared towards community discussion, at JoinIRC we welcome all communities with open arms to join us and make our exciting network their home.
We have various communities and channels on JoinIRC, such as the new #PS3 channel where people can go to find out updates on PSN etc... and Ravage Hosting (#Ravage) joinIRC's main sponcer who has supplyed the space and bandwidth to host our irc network on.
