WeIRCd is an open-source IRC daemon which focuses on easy administration and also integrates its own services to facilitate the setup.[4] It was first released in 2007 and is written in C. It didn't support linking to other servers. According to the site the project is now discontinued.[2]
Features
Amongst the usual featureset, WeIRCd is one of the few IRC daemons that provides a graphical administration interface for Windows systems that also allows you to edit the configuration without the need to edit the config file manually with a text editor.[Source?]
