This category is for all software that is no longer actively developed, and only bugs are fixed. Please note that just because a piece of the software is listed as dead, it doesn't mean that the software is faulty or doesn't work, a lot of dead IRC projects are still in use, and work great!
Software will be placed into this category if an official source states that the software is no longer being developed. If we do not have a source stating the software is no longer developed, and there have been no developments on the software for over 3 years, then it will also be placed in this category.

We appreaciate that a lot of IRC software is developed slowly, so we only consider software that hasn't been developed for over 3 years to be dead
