BitchX is a text-based IRC client written in C. It is a very popular client on Unix systems and may also be used as a bouncer. It originates from a script called "BitchX" written by "Trench" and "HappyCrappy" for the IrcII client which was then converted to a program on its own right by panasync in 1996.
