Acora is a services package wrote from ground up, the project started in 2008. It's written in PHP, designed to be used on smaller scale networks and has a very modular backend. It contains common services bots such as OperServ, NickServ and ChanServ. It currently works with Charybdis and InspIRCd. It's currently developed and maintained for IRCNode, there is also development on a ground up C++ services package to eventually replace this.
Acora has features such as a live mysql database backend, and changes externally will be honoured by the core. It also supports a level based access system and a flag based setting system rather than the traditional SET commands.
