Modern Trivia Questions!

What we are hoping to do, is create a modern set of trivia questions for everybody to enjoy. The reason we are doing this is a couple of members of #trivia on ParadoxIRC are bored of answering questions about games, tv shows and music from 20 years ago, with almost no modern questions involved.

Not only that, but a lot of the questions around are of poor quality, and usually wrong or just messed up.

We have a trivia bot with 250k questions, but I can guarantee that 1 in 10 questions will either be messed up, wrong or just stupid. So we have decided enough is enough, it's time to make a new set of questions :D

How can you help?

Helping is easy really! The first thing you should do, is head to irc.ParadoxIRC.net and join #trivia-dev - And just speak to us in the channel, about what we're currently doing, and what we're up to.

The second and most helpful thing you can do, is look at the list of pages below, there is Video Games, Anime, Science and many others. Just click on the topic that interests you the most and simply start adding questions :D Please only add questions that you no are right, and please try to keep your spelling good :P

You can also scour the internet for other trivia files that may be modern too, at least this way we can then have a truly complete set of trivia questions for everybody on IRC to enjoy :D

Where can I get these funky new questions?

Well, on the pages below you'll find all the questions, probably in categories too. For now the only way to get them is by copying & pasting them into your bot. However every 1000 questions will be put onto a paste bin, and then shared via this page. This way for those who are not contributing, you can just come and get the most recently completed files.

We will also put other trivia questions into pastebin pastes for you to enjoy once we find them!

I want to add some questions, how do I format them?

It is really easy. For a normal question, you would do:

Where would you find the Eifel Tower?*Paris

For a multiple answer question you would do:

Name five football teams who have won a World Cup*England*Spain*Brazil*Argentina*France

See, it's that easy :D
