About Us
- AlphaChat, formerly known as ZeroNET, was originally created as a side project of Sparky and Joah's, but now functions as an alternative network to all of the other medium sized networks within our extended community. We pride ourselves in being drama free and wish to provide all of our chatters with a friendly chat environment, different from what other networks provide to their chatters. We encourage all of our chatters to be respectful to one another, which is a core value of AlphaChat. On AlphaChat, we believe the purpose of having network staff is to help maintain and run the network, not to provide people with the ability to power trip and have totalitarian rule over a network. Therefore, our staff will not interfere with private channels, at all, without probable cause (this will only happen if something illegal or malicious is suspected of going on in the channel).
- We are always looking for new chatters to join or bring their channels to our network, so check out #Lobby or do a /list today!

- We have professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. We truly care about our chatters and do our best to make everyone feel at home and enjoy their experience on the network.

- We have 5 leaves, located in the United States, Europe, and Australia, as well as specific round robins for each region. This gives us geographical redundancy and allows us to provide you, the chatter, with as little lag as possible.
- We have IPv6 support on multiple servers in multiple countries.

How Do I Connect?
- Aside from our regular round robin of irc.AlphaChat.net or our IPv6 round robin of irc.IPv6.AlphaChat.net, we highly recommend you use one of our regional round robins. NA.AlphaChat.net, or NA.IPv6.AlphaChat.net for IPv6, will take you to a working North American server. EU.AlphaChat.net, or EU.IPv6.AlphaChat.net for IPv6, will take you to a working European server. AU.AlphaChat.net will take you to a working Australian server. Tor users may connect using our hidden service at vc7qz6miblo22fyu.onion. All Tor connections require you have a registered nickname and authenticate via SASL.
